Some sample pieces of work. The fabric is silk paper which I have waxed and varnished as it transforms the material from...well paper-like...to more malleable and worn in touch. I then free-stitched on the machine, replicating drawings. The fabric is most interesting when light is behind it, illuminating the stitch.
